History of D.B.E
The Diocesan Board of Education (D.B.E.) Islamabad / Rawalpindi is the central organization for the management of the Catholic Christian Schools in the Diocese of Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Pakistan, which is spread over KPK and Upper Punjab. The D.B.E. was founded and registered as a non-profitable and a charitable organization in 1960 under the societies Act 1860. At the time of establishment it had 30 schools and about 18,000 students irrespective of religion divergence. The D.B.E. has increased its education facilities manifold since its establishment and has grown to 45 schools with about 33,000 students.
